How to Prepare for SBI Clerk 2021?
Do you think of cracking the SBI Clerk exam somehow? Are you still
researching on a right way to do it? Don’t worry you have landed up at
the right place. This exam takes place in two phases: (1) SBI Clerk
Prelims and (2) SBI Clerk Mains.
The preparation strategy below applies to both phases of the
examination.
1. Stick to Syllabus: Don’t go behind all the information out there.
You need to strongly stick to the syllabus given. Also collect
required books for the preparation.
2. Collect previous year question papers: You need to practice with
the question papers first. Which will let you know the main areas
of the syllabus and on the way one will also get accustomed with
the questioning pattern.
3. Increase Speed: Any competitive exam depends upon your
answering speed. So answering within the time limit is very
important. You get a maximum of 36 seconds for each of the 100
questions in prelims. So one should try to continuously lessen the
time required to attempt a question during their practice day itself.
When it comes to mains exam, one gets a maximum of 50.5
seconds for a single question.
The steps you have read above are the crux points of the preparation
strategy. Now let's look at some of the tips to ease our preparation.
1. Split Syllabus: Through the initial phases of your preparation
itself you will be able to know which are your weaker and stronger
sections. According to that, split your syllabus into three sections:
easy, moderate and difficult.
2. Start with the easy or moderate portion: This is done so that in
the journey of your preparation you will gain some confidence
which will help you throughout the end.
3. Mock Tests: Give as many mock tests as you can and check your
speed, rank and score.
4. Regular Reading: This should be made a habit, so that it increases
your reading speed and comprehension. It helps while dealing with
the English language section and in faster comprehension of the
questions which saves time.
5. Last 10 years Question Papers: Never fail to complete the last 10
previous years question papers. Pretty much the same pattern will
be followed unless a drastic change happens which will always be
announced in advance. Not only that there is a huge possibility for
the repetition of questions from these years.
Last but not the least, maintaining a good balance between mental and
physical health is also important. This could be done through having a
proper diet at proper time + 6 to 8 hours of regular sleep + regular
exercise.
